Health pass (1).png

A Swiss Covid Certificate is requested for all non EU / EFTA / Schengen citizens and therefore a conversion of all non EU/EFTA/Schengen certificates into a Swiss certificate is needed.

Please find below the information concerning the conversion of vaccination certificates for guests from third countries (outside the EU / EFTA / Schengen) for visitors to the Canton of Geneva:

Geneva is the only Swiss canton to have decided to make the conversion of third country vaccination certificates free of charge (CHF 30.- in the rest of Switzerland).

All visitors need to do is to certify that they will be staying in a Geneva residence (hotel, with friends, etc.) during their stay. Proof is required (plane/train ticket, accommodation reservation, invoice with address in Geneva, etc.).

If these conditions are met, travellers must fill in a form via the following link: CLICK HERE

The request must be made 7 days before arrival in the territory, the time necessary for the Directorate General of Health to study the request.

If visitors decide to travel to other cantons during their trip, this is not a problem as long as one of the addresses of stay is in Geneva and the visitors have applied for a certificate.

As a reminder, here are the conditions according to which the COVID certificate can be requested by guests from third countries (outside the EU / EFTA / Schengen):

    - Cure: you have tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 6 months by PCR (laboratory analysis with a result taking several hours).
   - Vaccination :
           - You are vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognised by the EMA
           - You are cured and vaccinated against COVID-19. The cure must have been proven by a serology (blood test with a positive result) or a test done by a professional with a positive result (PCR or rapid antigenic test)
